ETHAN & KAYLEE

Hello,

We Are the Jordans.

We are a husband and wife creative team based in Ashland, Ohio.

Ethan Jordan is our creative director and creates the majority of the work we sell. He is who you are hiring when you commission us to create a piece of art.

Ethan has been creating art for as long as he can remember. His father is a gifted artist and inspired Ethan to create at a young age.

At the age of 17 Ethan was commissioned by Lima Memorial Hospital to create 17 oil paintings for their rehabilitation wing. It was at that point that Ethan knew he wanted to make art as a career.

Ethan was trained as a fine artist and graphic designer at Lourdes University in Toledo, Ohio (now closed), and Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. His painting Blue Crab won Best of Show at Grace College’s juried student art show his senior year.

Since graduating college in 2024, Ethan has been hired to paint murals, illustrate a fair program cover, create Lima Memorial Hospital’s 125th anniversary commemorative painting, paint Lima Nutrien Nitrogen’s plant, and many, many, portraits.

Ethan is constantly on the lookout for his next big creative endeavor and ultimately wants to tell unique stories with inspiring visuals that make an impact on people’s heart’s and minds.

Kaylee Jordan is our financial director and keeps the business operating smoothly. Without her, none of this works.

Kaylee has appreciated the arts since a young age and is inspired by the majesty of nature. At the same time she is analytical, good with numbers, and loves to learn.

Kaylee currently works part-time in public accounting while handling the books and taxes for Nomini Domini. She hopes to eventually transition out of public accounting and spend more time helping shape the studio's creative work by playing a larger role in developing stories and creating artwork.

Outside of her career, Kaylee enjoys being a mother, playing volleyball, and hiking. She especially enjoys extreme sports such as water skiing, snowboarding, and surfing.

We’re frustrated with our culture... and things are only getting worse.

Consumerism, big tech, mainstream entertainment, and now generative AI have spawned a world obsessed with instant gratification. America has lost sight of real connection, craftsmanship, and work ethic. Everything’s rushed, lewd, crude, and loud. Meanwhile, we’re told that ugly is beautiful, and evil is good.

That’s why we founded Nomini Domini—a studio that is a light of wholesome truth in a world darkened by lies and distractions. We give your cherished memories new life, tell meaningful stories, and create beautiful visuals using traditional methods that required years of practice, vulnerability, and discipline to master. Our work isn’t meant for quick glances; it connects deeply, shifts perspectives, uplifts hearts, and sparks joy.

Allow us to reintroduce you to real beauty and goodness.

Say hello to our debut merch drop. This low-profile cap was specially selected by Ethan, a hat aficionado in his own right, to make a statement while still being tasteful and classy. This cap introduces our apparel logo “NOM DOM” which will be used exclusively in association with our upcoming apparel collections. Each hat is hand-decorated by Ethan and Kaylee using luxury wool felt made in the Netherlands and 100% cotton thread. This drop will be a limited run of only 50 pieces.

  • 16-Wale partridge corduroy

  • Hat material: 100% cotton

  • Semi-structured

  • Low profile

  • 5-Panel

  • Flat peak

  • Plastic snapback

  • 100% wool felt appliqué

  • One size fits most (max circumference: 25 inches)

Each hat takes several hours to hand-decorate, and hat-making is not our main focus—we are first and foremost a fine art studio and those jobs take precedence. Considering that, we aim to finish 10–15 hats by 1/31/26. Those on the waitlist will receive these first. After the initial batch is shipped, hats will be made and shipped in the order pre-orders were received. Once all pre-orders are fulfilled, we will begin regular orders. Thank you for your patience.
